Susanne Liebich
is an an educator, a professional dancer, choreographer, wellness program facilitator and healer bringing vitalizing movement classes to a range of students in the Boston area.
Susanne studied classical dance at the Boston Ballet School, and later studied modern and jazz dance while working towards an MBA at Boston University, performing in local dance companies, and beginning her exploration of choreography.
Her teaching career began at Terpsichore Dance Studio in the Berkshires, with a focus on dance and mind/body exercise for children, teenagers and adults. While in Western Massachusetts, Susanne founded the repertory company "Aboutdance," which performed at the Inside/Out Theatre at Jacob's Pillow.
Returning to Metrowest Boston, Susanne continued to teach dance and organize wellness programs for a range of organizations, including Emerson Hospital’s Steinberg Wellness Center for Mind and Body. In 2015, she was elected as a corporator of Concord’s Emerson Hospital. For two years, she served as Development Chair and Board Member of BalletRox in Jamaica Plain, a non-profit dedicated to diversity in dance and inner city youth initiatives. Susanne served as Cultural Enrichment Coordinator for seven years and Dance Coordinator for two years for the Concord Public Schools. She has also taught classes and conducted outreach programs for at-risk teenage girls who reside at the Metro Youth Services Facility in Dorchester.
